 ŹCaring for textured hair can feel intimidating, especially if you’re ju
 st getting started. This upbeat, beginner-friendly class supports caregive
 rs who want to learn the basics of textured hair care, plaiting, and natur
 al styling in a welcoming, low-pressure environment. You’ll explore best
  practices, tools, products, and techniques, with plenty of time to ask qu
 estions and focus on what matters most to you.This session is especially h
 elpful for multiracial families, foster or adoptive families, and anyone c
 aring for a child with textured hair. Participants are welcome to bring a 
 child or loved one to practice on and receive guidance tailored to that pe
 rson’s hair; if you do, it’s best their hair arrive washed and blown o
 ut. Coming solo is perfectly okay too—mannequins and products will be pr
 ovided for demonstration and hands-on practice. The goal is simple: to hel
 p hair care become a positive, empowering experience for both caregiver an

 and I am the owner of "Talor's Twists, Braids, and Curly Days!&q
 uot; My small business is designed to educate folks on how to care for the
 ir and their loved ones' textured hair. My focus is on healthy hair 
 care for all curl types through education on natural and protective styles
 , as well as products, tools, and techniques. I found my way into this bu
 siness through my passion for caring for my family's hair, and as a c
 areer educator who wanted to share that passion and knowledge with others.
  I am a white woman, my wife is Black, we have a biracial daughter, and we
  have three very different curl textures! It has always been important to
  me, as a wife and mother, to be well informed and to understand how to ca
 re for their hair. So with that motivation I started learning and grew to 
 love curly and textured hair care! Some of my favorite styles to provide f
 or my family and clients are Two-Strand Twists, Finger Coils, Stitch Braid
 s, and Ponytail styles for littles!For ages 18 and up. Just drop in!Space
