Travel back in time with old-school games like NES Classic, Nintendo 64, Atari Classic, and vintage board games. Bring your childhood friends for a blast from the past, or make it a family affair as you face off in Mario Kart, collect bananas in Donkey Kong, and more. Parents, come show your kids how it was done “back in your day!” Kids, come school your parents at their own games!

Psst... Pizza and refreshments will be provided to fuel the fun!

Exciting art-ventures for all...

Dive in for a creative evening of art appreciation and exploration! Using a variety of mediums, create a different work of art at each monthly session—from painting and sculpture to mixed media and beyond. Whether you enjoy making an awesomely creative DIY project or prefer to make a fun, functional art piece, there will be something for every artist to enjoy. Expect things to get a bit messy, so dress accordingly and prepare to unleash your creativity in a fun, supportive environment.

Psst... This is a great event for family bonding or for getting creative with friends, providing a free space where you can try something new together without worrying about the cleanup. It's about the process, not the product (though we think the projects are pretty neat!).

B-I-N-G-O!

Bring the kids, the grandparents, your siblings, or whoever you like for a night of lively competition, prizes, and PIZZA. At this program, luck’s always on your side because (1) it’s a fun social night for all and (2) everybody wins! Even if you don't win, you can still pick one of our consolation prizes at the end of the program.

Plus—BONUS!!!—bingo is excellent reinforcement for kiddos learning their letters and numbers or practicing social skills like listening, sportsmanship, or following directions.

Sensational sensory fun awaits! Bring your little ones to the library to explore sensory learning. Sensory play is designed to stimulate a young child's senses—hearing, seeing, tasting, smelling, touching—and to create an early, natural introduction to the scientific processes as children play and investigate. Bottom line: kids have TONS of hands-on fun while strengthening important cognitive skills and fine and gross motor skills.

At each session, we will provide several exciting sensory stations for your child to explore while introducing you to early learning tools to benefit your child's development. Plus, we will provide a take-home project so you can continue the learning and fun beyond your visit! Things could get messy, so be sure to dress appropriately.

Go beyond traditional chess with the Bullitt County Chess League!

We'll have a variety of activities available, including personalized chess instruction, bughouse chess, speed chess, and open chess. Or if you're up for a BIG challenge, test your skills in a game of giant chess or join one of our chess relays!

Trainers and Pokémaniacs unite on the 2nd Tuesday of the month for Pokémon Club! Enjoy a fun new Pokémon-inspired activity at each session. Plus, visit entertaining activity stations to learn how to play the card game, trade some of your best creatures, and play fun Pokémon mini games.
