We want to hear from you! Stop by any Community Check-in event, an informal drop-in session where you can share your thoughts about the library, offer feedback, and chat with staff about exciting updates—like the latest on the Hillview expansion!

No formal presentations, no long surveys—just a casual opportunity to let us know what you love, what you’d like to see more of, and how BCPL can better serve you. Plus, we'll have small treats and giveaways as a thank-you for sharing your input. We look forward to hearing from you!

Bust the boredom and get crafty with us on the second Monday of every month! Gather your friends or make new ones as we dive into a fun, new project after school.

Dig into a good book...

Teens, this one is for you! Join us on the 2nd Monday of the month to hang out with other book worms, grab a drink, and talk about our latest book club selection. 

Exciting art-ventures for all...

Dive in for a creative evening of art appreciation and exploration! Using a variety of mediums, create a different work of art at each monthly session—from painting and sculpture to mixed media and beyond. Whether you enjoy making an awesomely creative DIY project or prefer to make a fun, functional art piece, there will be something for every artist to enjoy. Expect things to get a bit messy, so dress accordingly and prepare to unleash your creativity in a fun, supportive environment.

Psst... This is a great event for family bonding or for getting creative with friends, providing a free space where you can try something new together without worrying about the cleanup. It's about the process, not the product (though we think the projects are pretty neat!).

B-I-N-G-O!

Bring the kids, the grandparents, your siblings, or whoever you like for a night of lively competition, prizes, and PIZZA. At this program, luck’s always on your side because (1) it’s a fun social night for all and (2) everybody wins! Even if you don't win, you can still pick one of our consolation prizes at the end of the program.

Plus—BONUS!!!—bingo is excellent reinforcement for kiddos learning their letters and numbers or practicing social skills like listening, sportsmanship, or following directions.
