Join our introvert happy hour! Bring your current book and spend time reading with fellow book lovers every Tuesday evening. You can socialize your way with no need to finish a specific book or weigh in on a group discussion.

Psst... We'll set the cozy atmosphere with dimmed lights, calming music, and a selection of warm beverages including coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. To create the ultimate cozy space for yourself, you are welcome to bring a pillow and blanket.

Trainers and Pokémaniacs unite on the 2nd Tuesday of the month for Pokémon Club! Enjoy a fun new Pokémon-inspired activity at each session. Plus, visit entertaining activity stations to learn how to play the card game, trade some of your best creatures, and play fun Pokémon mini games.

Join LaDonna to bond over the macabre and explore this gripping and disturbing genre where the truth is often stranger than fiction. We'll discuss a new book and case each month.

Join us to help your little one start their early-learning adventure! Toddler Storytime for ages 0 to 2 is designed to help lay the foundation for lifelong learning through a combination of stories, songs, and play.

Children learn language by listening to others talk, and stories and songs help them learn how language sounds, add new words to their growing vocabulary, and begin to understand what words mean. Play helps children express themselves and put thoughts into words as they explore the world around them and build early social skills through interactions with other children.

Each session offers literacy tips and strategies to promote social, motor, and early-literacy skills.

We'll have activities at each session for students of different ages and interests, but the main purpose of this program is to give you a fun and casual hangout to share experiences and get to know other homeschooling families. Parents and families just curious about homeschooling are welcome to attend, too!

Increase flexibility, relieve sore muscles, and rejuvenate your body! Join Donna to jumpstart your day with a low-impact exercise class designed to engage all the major muscle groups through gentle stretches and balancing techniques. This is a beginner-friendly class; a chair will typically be used for support.

Donna Hall is a beloved member of our Hillview Branch Library staff. She has 17 years' experience as a practitioner along with intermittent teaching experience, including work as a substitute instructor at the YMCA.

Get active and stay strong...

Join us every week for a full-body strength-training session using resistance bands. This class is specifically designed to help older adults build and maintain strength for overall health or improved body composition. Instructor Hannah Southard will adjust the workout as needed to accommodate the individual strength levels and requirements of participants.

Please note:

• Wear clothing that will be comfortable for a light workout.
• Bottled water will be provided.
• Before you start any exercise program, it is recommended that you check with your physician.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Originally from Northern Ireland, Hannah Southard came to the United States in 2017 for a tennis coaching internship. She discovered that her passion for fitness expanded beyond tennis, and she became a NASM-certified personal trainer. After moving to Kentucky, she also got certified as a yoga instructor and a precision nutrition coach. Hannah has experience training people of all ages and aims to make fitness fun while creating an enjoyable and sustainable healthy lifestyle for everyone!
