- You may only use the filament provided by BCPL. Unless you are creating a BCPL-led pop-up project or attending a program, use of this station requires a fee of 3 cents per gram of filament to help cover materials and machine maintenance. You will still be responsible for these charges if an error occurs with your print job.
- For your safety, closed-toe shoes must be worn in the Maker Lab.
- Users ages 8–12 must be accompanied by an adult to use equipment outside of scheduled library programs.
- If you have questions or need any special accommodations, please notify the Maker Lab Assistant on duty.
Seating
The standard station configuration features a work area with a 3D printer, filament, and chair. The station should be straightened and everything returned to its original location when you are done. Please make sure the printer is turned off when your project has finished printing.
