This equipment may be booked for a maximum time of 2 hours per day. Current Open Lab hours are Monday–Thursday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Please note, training certification is required before you are permitted to use this equipment. Training is available by appointment or on a first-come, first-served basis on Open Lab days.
Equipment
This station is equipped with a Cricut Maker, Cricut tools, 12x12 mats, 12x24 mats. Other equipment, including a variety of Cricut pens, laptops with Cricut software, and tools for cutting vinyl, is available for your use in the lab.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Unless you are creating a pop-up craft, you must supply your own project materials, including vinyl.
- For your safety, closed-toe shoes must be worn in the Maker Lab.
- Users ages 8–12 must be accompanied by an adult to use equipment outside of scheduled library programs.
- If you have questions or need any special accommodations, please notify the Maker Lab Assistant on duty.
Seating
The standard station configuration features a work area with a Cricut machine, Cricut pens, laptop, and chair. The station should be straightened and everything returned to its original location when you are done.
