Equipment
This station is equipped with a VEVOR tumbler heat press suitable for transferring vinyl or sublimation designs to 11- to 20-ounce tumblers. This machine will work with stainless tumblers, mason jars, and more.
Other equipment, including laptops and heat-resistant safety gloves, are available for your use in the lab.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Unless you have a pre-made design ready to apply, transfers are most typically created with our Cricut or sublimation printer before you use the heat press.
- Unless you are creating a pop-up craft, you must supply your own project materials. (We do provide paper for sublimation printing; cost is $2 for a 8.5''x24'' print and $0.50 for every additional 2''.)
- For your safety, closed-toe shoes must be worn in the Maker Lab.
- Users ages 8–12 must be accompanied by an adult to use equipment outside of scheduled library programs.
- If you have questions or need any special accommodations, please notify the Maker Lab Assistant on duty.
Seating
The standard station configuration features a work area with a heat press, chair, and safety equipment. The station should be straightened and everything returned to its original location when you are done. Please make sure the heat press is turned off.
