Equipment
This station is equipped with an Epson SC-F570 Sublimation Printer. This machine is suitable for printing on sublimation paper that will later be transferred to compatible surfaces, including textiles or stainless tumblers, using a heat press. Other equipment—including laptops with design software, cutting tools, and sublimation paper—are available for your use in the lab.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Unless you are creating a pop-up craft or program project led by the Library, print cost is $2.00 for a 8.5''x24'' print and $0.50 for every additional 2''. Printing fees help to cover the cost of sublimation paper, ink, and machine maintenance.
- For your safety, closed-toe shoes must be worn in the Maker Lab.
- Users ages 8–12 must be accompanied by an adult to use equipment outside of scheduled library programs.
- If you have questions or need any special accommodations, please notify the Maker Lab Assistant on duty.
Seating
The standard station configuration features a work area with a sublimation printer, laptop, and starter paper supply. The station should be straightened and everything returned to its original location when you are done.
