History's lessons need voices...

How do we keep the lessons of the Holocaust alive after the exhibit ends? Join us for Continuing the Conversation, a powerful and practical program led by Kimberly Thompson, Eastside Middle School educator and participant in the UK-JHF Holocaust Education Initiative.

This event is designed for parents, educators, homeschool families, teens (ages 12+), and community members who want to engage in thoughtful conversations about the Holocaust. Ms. Thompson will share effective strategies, discussion techniques, and trusted resources to help guide meaningful, age-appropriate dialogue with young people beyond the exhibit.

Whether you're continuing a conversation at home, in the classroom, or within your community, you'll leave with tools to foster reflection, empathy, and deeper understanding of this critical chapter in history—and its relevance today.

For ages 12 and up. Just drop in!
Space will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Questions? Call Brandy at 543-7675 ext. 2013 or e-mail brandy@bcplib.org.

This event is part of our Americans & the Holocaust Exhibit series.
