Lesch talk about art...

Join local art advocate Dennis Shaffner to explore the work of Alma Lesch—the "undisputed grande dame of Kentucky textile arts"! Alma Lesch was an American fiber artist known for her fiber portraits; a historical marker notes her achievements in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, where Lesch lived and had her studio.

In addition, learn about other area artists featured in our May gallery display!

Psst... Don't forget to check out the exhibit featuring the works of Alma Lesch and other mixed-media and textile artists and painters. The exhibit will be up in the Community Wing at Central Library throughout the months of May and early June.
