Explore new traditions and celebrate your ancestors…

Join us on All Souls’ Day to celebrate the Mexican holiday Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, with a special evening storytime! Listen to a vibrant story about the traditions of Día de los Muertos. Then, create your own three-dimensional ofrenda (altar). Please bring in small photos and mementos of loved ones to place on your ofrendas!

Psst... We will also have supplies to create paper cempasúchil flowers (sometimes called "flowers of the dead," Mexican marigolds, or Aztec marigolds) along with decorative papel picado, both of which are perfect for adding to an ofrenda at home.

For ages 5 and up. (Para mayores de 5 años.) Just drop in!
