From chatbots to deepfakes—let’s break down the truth about AI! 🤖

AI is everywhere—but what does that really mean? This entry-level class will demystify artificial intelligence, breaking down key terms and concepts in a way that makes sense. Through a mix of lecture and interactive discussion, we’ll explore AI’s rapid evolution, its benefits in fields like medicine and accessibility, and its challenges, from deepfake scams to biased algorithms.

You'll learn how to spot AI in everyday life, use it ethically, and critically evaluate its impact—whether it’s a coworker’s AI-generated e-mail or misleading AI-altered images online. Expect a fast-paced discussion, real-world examples, and brief demos of tools like ChatGPT, OtterAI, and Grammarly.
