Put your paleontologist cap on...

Join us for a dino-mite adventure where you can live out your dreams of unearthing fossils and exploring the world of dinosaurs through hands-on STEAM activities. Dig into a variety of engaging stations that will put your skills to the test and leave you roaring for more!

🥚 Dethaw the Dinos
Rescue dinosaurs frozen in time! Use salt water to de-thaw ice-encased dinosaurs and discover which creatures have been trapped inside. Feel like a real scientist as you experiment with different techniques to melt the ice and free your prehistoric friends!

🦖 Excavation Site
Put on your explorer’s hat and uncover hidden dinosaur skeletons! Using paintbrushes and a sectioned excavation grid, carefully dust away layers of sand to reveal what’s buried beneath.

🦕 Create a Fossil
Become a fossil maker! Use air-dry clay and press toy dinosaurs into it to create your very own fossil impressions to take home.

For ages 5–12. Just drop in!
Seating and supplies will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Questions? Call Lindsey at 543-7675 ext. 2555 or e-mail lindsey@bcplib.org.
