Rescue your old costumes from the grave as you discover your new Halloween disguise—for FREE!

Get a scary good deal at our library Halloween costume swap, including children's costumes! Bring gently-used, quality costumes to exchange the items you no longer wear for new-to-you pieces that will bring new life to your spooky-season wardrobe. 

Guidelines:

  1. Only bring quality, clean costumes. NO torn or stained items, please.
  2. Bring a minimum of 1 item and 3 items maximum.
  3. No inappropriate, culturally insensitive, or mature costumes.
  4. Please make sure all items are freshly cleaned. Put all items in the dryer on high heat for 10 to 20 minutes before the event.
  5. You will receive 1 ticket for each item you bring. The tickets will be your swap currency.
  6. Any items remaining at the end of the event will be donated to charity.

Psst... Can't make the swap but have quality costumes you'd like to donate? All BCPL locations will be accepting donations through Friday, October 13th. The same donation guidelines apply!
