Craft strong and brave...

Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month as we make koinobori! Meaning “carp streamer” in Japanese, koinobori are a symbol of Children’s Day (May 5th). Families traditionally display these streamers at their homes in April and May to express their hope that the children will be as spirited and determined as the strong carp that can swim upstream and through powerful waterfalls.

For ages 5–12. Just drop in!
Space and supplies will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Questions? Call Ms. Destiny 543-7675 ext. 2554 or e-mail destiny@bcplib.org.
