Celebrate everything you love about Hillview before the library closes for a major renovation the following week. Drop in anytime during this open-house-style celebration to reminisce with a “Hillview Through the Years” slideshow, add your memories to a community time capsule, and get an early look at the exciting updates to come.

Plus, enjoy creative activities for all ages, from coloring and storytelling to exploring special pieces of Hillview’s history and future plans. With light refreshments, friendly faces, and plenty of nostalgia, it’s a heartfelt goodbye—for now—and the beginning of something even better. 💙

CLOSING TIMELINE:

  • 📅 Thursday, November 20th: The Next Chapter Celebration—an open house of memories, creativity, and community connection from 3:00–7:00 PM.
  • 📅 Wednesday, November 26th: Last day open (for now!).
  • 📅 Thursday, November 27th: All BCPL locations closed for Thanksgiving. Hillview will remain closed for construction and is expected to reopen in Winter 2026.
