Get ready to meet the coolest VIPs—Very Important Penguins! 🐧✨

The Newport Aquarium’s WAVE Foundation is bringing their penguin ambassadors to Hillview for an unforgettable encounter. You’ll get to meet an African penguin up close and learn all about these amazing birds—their icy (or not-so-icy!) habitats, what’s on the menu for dinner, and how they survive and thrive in the wild.

From fun facts to fascinating stories, you’ll discover just how unique penguins really are—and how conservation efforts help protect them around the world. Space is limited, so don’t miss your chance to waddle into this unforgettable experience!

CANCELLATION UPDATE 11/3: Due to a high rate of Avian Flu occurrence at the moment, Newport Aquarium has announced that their penguin ambassadors will be unable to leave their exhibit until January 20th. We are in discussion now about alternate arrangements!
