Ready to unleash your inner Jedi Master (or Sith Lord)? Step into a galaxy far, far away as we celebrate one of the most iconic stories in history: Star Wars

Craft your very own personal lightsaber, tackle themed puzzles and coloring activities, and snap epic photos with costumed characters from the Bluegrass Garrison and the Rebel Legion. Whether you dream of joining the Jedi, piloting with the Rebellion, or just hanging out with a few legendary characters, this is your chance to experience a little galactic adventure right here at the library.!

ABOUT THE 501st LEGION   Website
"The 501st Legion is an international costuming organization dedicated to celebrating STAR WARS™ through the creation and use of quality costumes that portray the villainous, morally ambiguous, or non-partisan characters from the STAR WARS™ universe. The Legion promotes interest in STAR WARS and facilitates the use of these costumes for STAR WARS-related events as well as contributes to the local community through costumed charity and volunteer work." ABOUT THE REBEL LEGION
The Rebel Legion is an international Star Wars costuming organization made up of fans who create incredibly detailed, screen-accurate costumes of the saga’s heroes—from Jedi and Rebel pilots to princesses and Wookiees. Beyond celebrating the magic of a galaxy far, far away, members regularly volunteer their time at community events, charity fundraisers, and hospital visits—sharing their love of Star Wars while giving back and inspiring fans of all ages.
