Build cane confidence for mobility and self defense!
Discover the power and potential of a hooked cane in this engaging three-part series designed for cane users, veterans, and martial arts enthusiasts. Led by Stan Triplett, a martial artist with 50+ years of experience, and Danielle Phillips, PT, DPT, and third-degree black belt, this series will help you see your cane as a tool for independence and strength.
COURSE SCHEDULE
- Session 1: Introduction & Demonstration

Gain valuable insights into the benefits and psychology of cane use, learn about cane anatomy, and watch practical demonstrations, including:- Assisting with everyday tasks like standing up from a chair or recliner
- Navigating public spaces with confidence, including restaurants and checkout lines
- Walking techniques to improve mobility and control
- Sessions 2 & 3: Hands-on Training

Practice offensive and defensive cane techniques, mobility tips, and strategies for daily life.

- Bring your own cane if you have one. A limited number of canes will also be available for training.
