Read classic and popular books at home, then join us on the second Saturday of the month to see the book come to life in film. After the viewing, we'll discuss the book, the movie, and everything in between. Remember—don't judge a book by its movie. Or vice versa!

READ IT: Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier 
WATCH IT: Rebecca (1940; Rated PG)

DESCRIPTION: Maxim de Winter, still troubled by the death of his first wife Rebecca, falls in love with a shy ladies' companion. They get married, but the second Mrs. de Winter discovers that Rebecca still has a strong hold on everyone in the house, particularly on Mrs. Danvers, the housekeeper, who begins driving the young wife to madness.
