Join us to help your little one start their early-learning adventure! Toddler Storytime for ages 0 to 2 is designed to help lay the foundation for lifelong learning through a combination of stories, songs, and play.

Children learn language by listening to others talk, and stories and songs help them learn how language sounds, add new words to their growing vocabulary, and begin to understand what words mean. Play helps children express themselves and put thoughts into words as they explore the world around them and build early social skills through interactions with other children.

Bring your lunch to the library on the 2nd Tuesday of each month!

Together, we will explore trending or highly-respected books that spotlight #OwnVoices stories, underrepresented groups, and diverse experiences so that we can better understand ourselves and each other. Storytime's not just for our youngest patrons! Help your older child grow a love for reading as we explore literacy through stories, songs, games, and crafts you can enjoy as a family. We'll have occassional guest speakers, too. Due to the featured books and the skill level needed for some crafts and activities, this program is especially ideal for elementary-aged children, but all ages are welcome. We strive to create rich and fun experiences that build a love of books, libraries, and learning that will stay with children for a lifetime.

This series is designed with homeschool families in mind and may also provide an alternative for families unable to attend our weekly storytimes on Tuesdays.

Book lovers unite on the 4th Monday of the month! Join us for a relaxing evening at the library to discuss our latest book selection chosen by the group. Each meetup will be a new experience and you never know what will happen—you might get to lead the discussion (but only if you want!), or a special guest might make an appearance!

BONUS ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

• Readers receive a copy of the book to keep!
• Movie nights! If a movie adaptation of our selected titles exists, a film viewing will be scheduled a few days after our regular meeting.
