“Diverse stories provide kids with different perspectives and help them see how others think and feel."—Marley Dias
Join us for a special storytime as we read A Crown for Corina by Laekan Zea Kemp. In the story, Abuela reminds Corina that every flower in her crown must tell her story—who she is and where she comes from. After the read-aloud, create your own flower crown to celebrate NEA's Read Across America. The flowers you choose will represent who you are as a reader, your friends and family, your personality, and your dreams and goals!
For children of all ages. Just drop in!
Space and supplies will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Questions? Call Ms. Destiny 543-7675 ext. 2554 or e-mail destiny@bcplib.org.
