Turning the page on a chapter of Bullitt County history…

As Ridgway Memorial Library transfers to the County for a new purpose, we’re inviting the community to stop by for one final farewell. Take this opportunity to visit, ask questions, and say goodbye to a space that has been a cornerstone of learning and connection for generations. Whether you remember storytimes, quiet afternoons of reading, or gatherings with friends, we welcome you to share your memories of Ridgway.

Help celebrate Ridgway Memorial Library’s legacy at one of two open house events:

📅 Wednesday, October 23rd | 5:00–7:00 PM
📅 Friday, October 25th | 11:00 AM–1:00 PM

ABOUT RIDGWAY MEMORIAL LIBRARY
Location: 127 N. Walnut Street | Shepherdsville, KY 40165

Since officially opening in January 1973, Ridgway Memorial Library has welcomed generations of patrons, hosted countless events, and supported lifelong learning. Originally a family home donated by Dr. and Mrs. Sam Ridgway, the building has evolved over the years through numerous renovations and expansions. As we turn the final page to a new chapter for Bullitt County Public Library, help us honor its enduring legacy.
