Step away from your everyday routine to test drive a new hobby and see if it’s the perfect fit for you! Each Hobby Hunting session introduces a fun new activity, complete with hands-on experience and expert tips to help you get started. No experience needed—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to try something new!

    Capture your memories, favorite places, or future goals in a custom scrapbook! With guidance from Gail Dillon of Creative Memories, you’ll get tips and inspiration while crafting your first pages using provided supplies.
  • 📜 February 19th: Genealogy
    Uncover your family’s story with an introduction to genealogy research! Explore library resources like Ancestry.com, HeritageQuest, and our Local History Room collections. Kat will share tips on tracing your family tree, gathering insights from relatives, and recording your findings. Plus, learn how other organizations like the Bullitt County History Museum and Filson Historical Society can enhance your research journey.
  • 📷 March 19th: Photography 
    Bring your camera or smartphone and learn how to take your best photos yet! Explore settings, adjustments, and techniques for portraits, landscapes, and more. Practice your skills and get expert advice.
  • 📍 April 16th: Geocaching 
    Embark on a modern treasure hunt! This introduction to geocaching will show you how it works and offer tips on finding the best local spots to join the adventure.
