Because you need support, too...

Do you provide primary or essential care for relative children? Grandparents, aunts, uncles, older siblings, and other non-parent caregivers who are raising a family member's children are invited to share your experiences on the third Thursday of the month. This is a safe and supportive environment to discuss the ups, downs, and in-betweens of kinship caregiving. Take comfort and inspiration from common experiences, learn coping strategies, and more.

Please note: This is a peer support group with a library facilitator/supporter. We are not trained counselors or therapists, and the Library cannot provide legal or financial advice. But we are happy to listen and to connect you with the resources and information you need!

For non-parent caregivers ages 18 and up. Just drop in!
