Event Details

Hogwarts is coming to the library...

All month long, immerse yourself in the magical world of Harry Potter! Create magical items, enjoy spellbinding activities, and snap some magical pics at our selfie station! Plus, free Dobby by donating socks to be sent to local elementary schools and shelters.

Enjoy a new wizarding activity over four Mondays:

  • May 1st – Design and decorate your own sorting hat.
  • May 8th – Ollivander's Wand Shop has been magically shrunk and squeezed into a jar! Drop in for a one-day-only guessing game. The closest guess without going over will receive a special prize. 
  • May 15th – Herbology class is in! Join us to sculpt your very own mandrake from clay, plus paint a flower pot for your new magical creation.
  • May 22nd – Famous wizards are hiding in the library! Join our one-day-only scavenger hunt to find them. If you complete your hunt, you will be entered in a drawing for a special prize. 

For children of all ages. Just drop in!
