Every Thursday in January, enjoy new hands-on crafts and mindfulness techniques designed to inspire relaxation and focus. From stress-busting activities to soothing fidgets, discover simple ways to bring peace and joy to your daily routine. 

  • January 2nd - Handmade Macramé & New Year Time Capsule
    Create a New Year’s Time Capsule to capture your hopes and goals for the year ahead, and craft a beautiful macramé wall hanging to add a pop of color to your space.
  • January 9th - Winter Lotion Bar & Pocket Fidget
    Soothe winter skin with a handmade lotion bar while kids craft their own pocket-friendly fidget for moments of stress.
  • January 16th - No Sew Pillow & Worry Monster
    Meet your own worry monster—a friendly companion to help manage anxiety—and make a decorative, no-sew pillow with a cozy scene or soothing message for your home.
  • January 23rd - Painted Light Switch Cover & Moon Dough
    Whip up soft, squishy moon dough to work out your stress or customize a colorful new light switch cover to brighten your space.
  • January 30th - Calming Stone & Infinity Cube 
    Unwind and unlock endless fun with an Infinity Cube fidget. Or design a calming worry stone for moments of mindfulness.

Each session includes take-home tips on mindfulness, stress relief, and library resources to support a peaceful and creative start to your year.
