Play. Explore. Investigate.
Sensational sensory fun awaits! Bring your little ones to the library to explore sensory learning. Sensory play is designed to stimulate a young child's senses—hearing, seeing, tasting, smelling, touching—and to create an early, natural introduction to the scientific processes as children play and investigate. Bottom line: kids have TONS of hands-on fun while strengthening important cognitive skills and fine and gross motor skills.
At each session, we will provide several exciting sensory stations for your child to explore while introducing you to early learning tools to benefit your child's development. Plus, we will provide a take-home project so you can continue the learning and fun beyond your visit! Things could get messy, so be sure to dress appropriately.
***PLEASE NOTE: Due to the holiday closure on December 26th, there will be no Sensory Stations session in December. We can't wait to see you again in January 2023! You are also more than welcome to attend our monthly session at Central Library on Wednesday, December 28th.***
For ages 0–5. Just drop in!
Space and take-home materials will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Questions? Contact Ms. Jillian at 543-7675 ext. 2557 or e-mail jillian@bcplib.org.
