April is bursting with hands-on fun inspired by plants, nature, and a hint of Derby flair. Each Thursday brings a fresh mix of crafts that invite you to grow something, build something, or simply try something new.
From sparkling flowers and living plants to garden art and race-day fun, every week offers a chance to create, connect, and celebrate the season together.
WEEKLY PROJECTS INCLUDE:
- 🌸 April 2nd – Tulips & Tiny Plants
Young artists can create a sparkling tulip diamond art design, while adults craft a charming beaded potted plant to brighten any space. - 🌱 April 9th – Grow & Display
Kids can decorate a pot and plant a real seed to take home, while adults design a unique air plant holder complete with a living air plant. - 🫧 April 16th – Bubbles & Brushstrokes
Kids will design custom bubble wands (and test them outside!), while adults paint a wooden door sign perfect for welcoming spring. - 🌼 April 23rd – Garden Glow-Up
Kids can transform recycled CDs into colorful mosaic garden stakes, while adults create elegant hot-glue floral frames finished in gold or silver. - 🐎 April 30th – Derby Day Fun
Kids can craft playful pool-noodle horses, while adults design handmade Derby fascinators worthy of race-day flair.
