Mrs. Burchett is back with two bright and bold art adventures! Each session kicks off with a vibrant picture book and ends with your very own masterpiece. Perfect for kids who love stories, color, and a little creative mess!
- 🎨 June 13th — Elmer the Patchwork Elephant
Inspired by the colorful classic Elmer by David McKee, we’ll scribble, swirl, and splash our way to an abstract elephant full of personality. You’ll learn how to turn a single line into a rainbow of shapes, then shape it into an elephant that’s uniquely YOU!
- 🍳 July 11th — Royal Breakfast Food Fight!
Things get tasty (and silly!) as we read Lady Pancake & Sir French Toast by Josh Funk. Then, design your own fancy breakfast character, complete with a curly powdered wig made from paper coils. Will your eggs be elegant? Will you give your toast a top hat? Let’s find out!
For ages 5–12. Just drop in!
